Pirates and Pals
at The Strong® Museum
January 12 & 13

Land ahoy! Bring your crew of buccaneers to Pirates and Pals at The Strong museum on Saturday, January 12 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, January 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. Watch live performances, view model ships, and more.

Join the Happy Pirates for interactive musical performances at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. The Happy Pirates crew is made up of Captain Gully, the ukulele-playing, fun-loving leader; Scuttle, the prankster; and Sharkbait, the silly crewmate with a big heart. The three characters are played by John Barthelmes, Matthew Roy, and Ryan Turco, who are improvisational artists, stage performers, and friends.

Shake fins with a silly shark and check out model ships from the Model Shipwright Guild of Western New York. Visit the pirate play area and walk the plank, create a sea captain hat, dig for buried treasure in kinetic sand, make a raft to see if it floats, and more.

All Pirates and Pals activities are included with general museum admission fees. Programs underwritten by Delta Air Lines, the official airline of The Strong.
