Fall 2017 Schedule

Celebrate the joy of reading! Hear classic children’s stories read aloud and go on literary adventures at Storytime Club at The Strong museum on select Mondays at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Receive a Storytime Club Passport and have it punched once during each visit. Collect five punches and receive a free children’s book! The Storytime Club fall schedule follows:

Mondays, September 11, 18 & 25—Colors and Shapes. Explore books about fascinating hues and unique shapes.

Mondays, October 2, 16, 23 & 30—Magical Music. Groove to the beat with stories filled with rhythms and rhymes.

Monday, November 6, 13, 20 & 27—Giving Thanks. Delight in heartwarming tales about being thankful and showing gratitude. 

Monday, December 4, 11 & 18—Friends and Family. Celebrate the holiday season with stories about friendships and family. On December 18 only, enjoy a story reading with a Berenstain Bear!

All Storytime Club programs are included with general museum admission fees. Storytime Club programming sponsored by RocParent magazine. Programs underwritten in part by Delta Air Lines, the official airline of The Strong.


Museum Hours: Monday–Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.

General Admission Fees (does not include admission to Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden®): age 2 and older $15, under age 2 free, members free. Fees subject to change.

Admission to Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden: General Admission fee plus $4 for members, $5 for nonmembers, under age 2 free. Entry is by timed ticket only. Fees subject to change.

Parking: Free parking is available at the museum for all guests on a first-come, first-served basis during regular museum hours. Please note that, on high visitation days, the museum lot may reach capacity early in the day. If space is not available on site at the time of your visit, additional parking is available at neighboring municipal garages for a fee. The Strong is not responsible for fees incurred at off-site locations.
